It has to be hooked up to BUDS (dealership) and all the info is transferred except hours......the hours does not change in the cluster.

The CanDoo can not do what you wish to do!! It can do many other things but BUDS is needed to marry the Riva ECU to your ski.

I have the SBT scanner tool and I had to activate my RIVA ECU. I believe CanDoo makes the SBT tool because they look very similar. I was able to marry the gauges and set the TPS. The ski ran but I couldn't set any options like Trim, Speedo, Ect. until I did some trickery. Hooked the scanner up to another ski, read all the info, changed the settings then swapped out the computers on the ski for the RIVA and wrote the info. It works. You can also change owner info, HIN, and machine info but only seadoo can change hours. Hours should be stored in the gauges anyway. This was all on an 08 rxt-x
