Well after all the fuss about needing a fresh water flush point for salt water use it kicked me in the ass. Went out today and left the damn valve open and sunk the ski.

The oem kits should have a self sealing connector that seals the connector when the hose is disconnected. Ski ok?

Well it started up (god knows how as I would have put money on the engine being hydrauliced). I have since washed it all out with fresh water and totally choked the engine with oil. The hull has suffered damage as I had to drag it semi submerged onto a very rocky shore. As luck would have it the tide was on its way out so it left it high and dry giving me time to drain it. Thought the ski was fubar so I just dragged it off with the rib and towed it back to the slipway. If anything it has left me in awe of what these little skis can take. They are the toyota hi-lux of the seas
