Have a look at the mods in my signature line and add a reflash and intercooler. You will be right in the range you are looking for and be ready for the next step up. Jim Performance is a great person to talk to. You will find he has many fans on this forum and the reason why is because he can get you what you want without spending money on stuff that doesn't really contribute anything to your speed gains. He is here in Florida so he can do the work or you can do it yourself with his recommendations. You are probably looking at about a $3K budget to get to that 75-80mph range.

If you get the reflash, I have a riva e1 wheel for sale for $275 shipped as long as you are in the us. It only had about 35-40 hours of use on it. You can still run pump gas, 93 octane of course.

You aren't to far from Jim. Get with Jim! With a B1 or ET low boost wheel and a few light mods he should have you right at 80. 75 is cake walk on these skis.
ET Low Boost wheel, intercooler, air intake, freeflow, repitch stock prop or get new, R&D intake grate and should put you right there.

I'm at 75mph now with the mods in my signature (less than $1,600). I'll be swapping to an R3 tune and having my nozzles bored soon to see 76+mph, maybe 77mph. But throw an IC or any SC wheel at what I got now and you're definitely in the speed range you're looking for and still very reliable.
