whats the difference?
I was looking at the OEM partslist earlier; and i noticed that when you look at(for instance) the 2012 model line there are at least 2 choices for each model: The 'North America' and 'International' versions.
Whats the difference? besides the obvious like the meters are going to read metric, etc., what are the differences?

Any Sea-doo can show metric!
there made in Canada!!
I really don't know the difference though.

International ones don't have such strict emission controls on them.

International models/RS models are slightly faster out of the box.

The RS International ECU has a 72 GPS speed limit while the North American has a 68 GPS limit.
I know, I bought a RS ECU in early 2011 to get past the NA 68 GPS limit thinking it had no speed limit. Well it had a 72 GPS limit as advertised.
Everything thing else is the same, torque limit, boost limit, 8040rpm limit, etc, etc.

Would that slight increase in the RS ECU take anything away from the longevity of the ski compared to the ECU offered in the North America?
