    Royal purple marine oil?

Anyone ever use this and has anyone ever had any problems or and good results?

Most use yamalube or amsoil marine. Make sure it does NOT have friction modifiers. The FMs eat up clutches.

Saw an indepth motorcycle oil review on amother forum, RP was average. Amsoil and Mobil were the top 2. I think Valvoline was third.

Rick, any particular reason for your statement?

I don't want to jack Bryans' thread, but i will be looking for a higher duty oil to run in my engine, then the Yamalube designed for the stock craft.

-Valvoline VR1 Racing oil was used to break in my engine on the dyno at Riva, as it contains higher level of zinc/phosphorus anti-wear properties. So im leaning toward buying a case of it.

Before i do though, i wanted to look into the Royal Purple Stuff but have not had the chance to do so.

    Still Cautious with Synthetics.. http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...=173163&page=5

So they have synthetic? I'm at the point where it is needed. I would much rather have Mobil one but it i want it to be a marine oil not motorcycle. Lol I use Mobil one in all 4 of my vehicles and I love it.
