    New mill in '97 Pro

After half ass rebuilds, continued piston skirt fragments and water entering, and finding out too late I should have been running race gas...

I traded a trailer, Black Jack carbs, old motor, and $780 for...
New piston kits, new and Nicaciled Jugs, never ran complete bottom end which includes a balanced, welded, CrankWorks crank, stock carbs, boysen reeds (questions on this), correct water routing, stock head (which cen dome is beat to hell) ADA head with two different sets of good domes, and a few little items.

Ordered a top end gasket kit and got going.

    Questions so far...
~The stock reeds look to be OK but should I change them anyway? These Boysens are carbon fiber tops and similar white (fiberglass?) unders. Very stiff.
~The stock carbs have fuel supply on mag and pto and their return feeds cen? Pulse lines only on mag and pto as well, with cen having a...(looks kinda like a jet valve)?
~Water flows in exhaust manifolds, up cylinder, out head?

Use randys water routing. Someone here knows where the diagram is . I'm not sure where that is.

    Another thing..
Trying to figure out what gas is needed (more like whats the max compression to run 91 octane).
Got different dome options, and tryin to be safe. If it matters, lowest elevation I'll be running is 4500ft.

if you run an ada head you'll need 25 c domes for 91 octane

pissers on the head don't really matter i'd be more concerned with the pissers on the pipes and yes 25cc is ok for 91-92 octane just make sure you check your wash after awhile ,I wouldn't hold it wide open for any long periods of time until you know your jetting is ok

Yeah, already had pissers on the stingers.
Jetting is set to factory "option 2" (170/165/170, 85/85/85). Going new lines, filters, fuel/oil, clean tank, so hopefully should be good but I'll keep an eye on everything.

Still lost on lack of return line. Cen carb has what looks like would be one, but has a... "jet valve" (?) in it.
And should I change these reeds?
