First post here on the forums, having an issue with my 2003 Sea Doo XPDI. On cold starts or if the machine sits for 10-15 minutes it will barely want to start. When it does start it will sputter/bog and stall if you give it some throttle. You have to let it idle for a bit before trying to go, once you get it going and up to speed it runs fine until you turn it off and let it set for a little bit again. Changed the plugs, tried higher octane fresh gas, no luck yet. Still hits 67mph wide open once I get it running and staying running. It will idle fine and go slow as well once you clear it out in the beginning. Any ideas or anyone come across this? Is there a temp sensor that communicates with the computer that won't let an engine rev up or move as a safety feature?
