    Wonder why the Cane has +2 degrees timing over the other 700 twins.

    The cane CDI's are different too. I'd have to look in the book but I'm sure they have a different rev limiter too, well pretty sure. time to check the book.

    OK, 700's operating Rpm's are 6300 and Limit at 6700, but the cane is 6700 operating and 7200 limiter. Remember these are all from my 96 High Performance manual. You might want to double check, but I'd assume the 97 is the same. Anybody have a 97 manual that can confirm this for us?
