hi guys it has been a while. and I got my jetski running but I think I have a slight problem when I first take my ski out it runs pretty good it kinda Boggs when I get it for throttle but my main issue is it will be running good for a little bit it will start blogging down like its misfiring and all the sudden runs I can never have a problem then few minutes later start bogging down again then few minutes later runs perfect I check the spark plugs and the mag spark plug looks like its fine good the pto also looks like its fine good but the cen looks a little wet and dark could this be caused by a bad coil? by the way I have a 94 polaris sl 750

Coils rarely cause issues on the Fujis. Are you checking the plugs by running WOT then hitting the kill switch? Checking the plugs after idling wont tell you much.... When did you last rebuild your carbs?

yes i would check it wot. it idles just fine when i give it half throttle i feels as if it has a lil miss but nothing bad but when im wot thats when the trouble starts it runs good for a few minutes then it starts to bog and feels as if its miss fires then ill hit a wake and it feels like it has a new life it runs awesome for a few minutes then back to bogging and miss firing its driving me crazy because i feel as if it could be a easy fix i just gotta figure it out

Is your fuel tank venting in good order? Any noticeable release of pressure when the gas cap is removed? Do you have the return restrictor installed in the return line? What are the carbs set at? Do you know your pop off pressure? Have you taken a look at piston wash? Have you tried cutting back your plug wires 1/4" and screwing the boots back on?

carbs are set at m1/4 c3/8 p7/8
plug wires cut back. do i have to cut back from the coils also?
and the fuel vent looks good and no pressure when i open the fuel cap

Also when I drive home after the lake and check the plugs again they are soaked with gas and oil
When I bought the jet ski the previous owner had it sitting for five years do you think all the old oil and has is sitting at the bottom of the engine and it could be causing some of the problems?
