    What am I missing??

    On the R&D website they have a stage 5 listed for the GPR. What has me wondering is it includes FP triples and an EFI controller.

    I didnt think it was possible to run triple pipes with an EFI. Did I miss the memo saying you can??

    Also I thought you had to change the CDI to run triples and the 1300 EFI didnt have a replacement yet. Is that 2 memos that I didnt get?? Dont I feel dumb.

    Whats with the concord prop ?

    rev limiter

    what they did was pitch the impeller up to keep the rpms below the rev limiter

    but when you do this the motor is running below the RPM the pipes were designed for so it is not ideal

    That info is from 2004. Its old stuff that may still be out there. R&D's intention was to have a Tripple Pipe set-up to run on the stock fuel injection system for 03 & 04 GPRs. The 2005 had not even been released yet at this point and time. This was also before we knew that the GPR Production would be coming to a halt after 2007.

    Well, nothing ever came of it because they couldn't ever get it to work. So the whole thing went down the tubes. They never had the chance to sell their "Stage 5". And no one to this day has an EFI Triple Pipe Boat that i know of, but that doesn't mean that things will be the same for the future because new advances/technologies are always coming out.

    Ok thanks. That explains it, I thought that was something I would have heard about if it was out and working.
