    Nitrous Oxide Systems

Hello they sell a system to me of Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) for my jet ski MSX 140 that they recommend to me.

To be honest with you I would stay away from it, really not pratical on a pwc. Though a trubocharged engine love NOS in small moderations. I guess if you wanted a little more power out of the hole it might be worth it. On the top end it would not give you all that much. Keep in mind that NOS gives you the most power in the lower RPM range, and not at the top end like you see in the movies. I do run NOS on my other toy and I am a firm beliver in the power gains. I just do not think it would be worth the hastle. Also make sure it is a "wet" kit and not a "dry" kit. The wet kit injects additional fuel (wich is a must) along with the NOS. If you diside to do it I will be glad to help with lots of NOS knowlage. Just let me know.

i think a dry system would be safer an it would cool the turbo down more

no not dry!!! Need to add aditional fuel somehow or it will run lean and burn a piston!!!!! Turbo's have enough air flow to allow for a wet system. If you put a wet system on a n/a there is not enough air flow to evenly distrbt the fuel evenly. The turbo has enough air flow to do that. If you do not run a wet system you will have to figure out how to get additional fuel to the engine. IE computer programing to increase the duty cycle on the injectors or be able to raise the fuel pressure up enough to allow more fuel to enter the engine. But you only want this to happen when you are using the NOS. You also do not want to get crazy with the power levals of the jets.

Trust me. I have done extensive work with NOS systems. If you want to spend the big $$$ then you can go with direct injection. I owned a performance import shop for several years, and NOS and turbos was our specitialty. I have lots of knowladge when it comes to NOS and Turbos.
