    low 12 volt

last time i went out i had a low 12 volt message pop up while i started it up and went on my way out.. i noticed it after riding for about a mile and a half so i pulled over and turned it off.. upon restart i had "sensor" pop up a couple times and the 12 volt was there.. i turned it off again and the second time i restarted it just the sensor popped up.. so i kept riding.. after a few times turning it off and back on.. everything was fine and the ski ran like normal... the ski only sat for about 5 days between rides..

does anyone see a problem here?

the battery is literally 2 months old.

I've had the 12v low come up on new batteries.
It's a computer glitch on certain year skis.
    Nothing to worry about.

Well that's a relief.. Just making sure I'm not gonna get stuck.

Is there a time frame I have to throw it on trickle? Like if in not going to use it for a week or two?

I've had it happen to 2004-2007 skis.
I've put a new battery in almost all the skis I sell and in those year skis I've had the 12v low come on even after a brand new battery.

I tell all my customers that if you are NOT going to ride for 2 weeks or more to put it on a trickle charger for a day or so....DONT plug it into a charger and leave it

Take a volt meter and check your charging system while running and check current voltage Make sure it is putting out more than 13 volts . It will come on if your idle get low because your charge rate will be below charging threshold. Normal idle charge @1800 rpm is around 13.5.
