automatic or manual
I want to install a bilge pump in my RXT but I don't know which one to go with, automatic or manual , what are the pros and cons on both.
Where should I mount it?

Most of your automatics have a manual bypass. So you can have both options with a three way switch.

I always add one, because you never know. I have seen too many driveshaft seals and cooling hoses start leaking after going out for a long ride. Its nice to know that if a leak dose devlope that you can flip a switch or that it will automaticly start pumping water out of the hull.

Go with the automatic man!! I have the manual and one time the exhaust popped off, I did not notice it until too late and had to turn it on when the hull was half full with sea water!
If I would have had the automatic one that would not have happened!!!!!
