    Get finger"d !

Your Throttle that is....... I wanted to share it with all of you as im a cheapster and maybe another wanted to do this mod also. I did it last year on my RXP and now the RX. What i have is a Tigershark model Finger throttle that i paid $11 bucks total on Ebay. BUT i needed an end cap. So All i did was trim the original seadoo thumb one down, trimmed out a piece of 1/8 inch plexiglass to match the diameter for the endcap to hide the gap, Then used Ultra Black sealant to hold it in place, waited 24 hrs to cure and placed a carbon 3D laminate on the plexi. Drilled out a 7/8 inch hole for the handle bar, slipped on the custom end cap then the Throttle. Sat on the ski to get the best comfort angle, marked it, drilled the mounting hole for the throttle and used a stainless phillips head metal screw for that. Put on the cable, adjusted the T cable and reinstalled the grip and WAAALAHH! I Like it!

I like it! No mods needed for the throttle cable length?

Does it give a full pull at the throttle drum?

That finger throttle looks identical to the one that came in the RIVA kit.

The cable adjustment can be made at the throttle body I had to adjust mine about 1/4" to get a little slack at idle and full throttle body open with it clamped to the bars.

Sounds like you changed out only the trigger lever or did you change the cable too?

Just added the finger throttle to my 05 GTX SC and 04 RXP.

The 05 GTX set up I bought a complete handle bar assembly off ebay with the RIVA bar extensions spacers and finger throttle. The 04 RXP I got the handlebar end cap off ebay, the handlebar extensions from the classifieds on here and the finger throttle was removed from the 98 GTXL which now has a thumb throttle and is up for sale. In both cases I had to adjust the cable at the throttle body.
