My 2008 RXP 215 Will not stay hooked up to the water???

For some reason my RXP will not stay planted to the water... Even when I get to calm glass waters; It seems to only do it at top end. IDK what to do I have a R&D Intake grate w/ Girdle. I don't understand =(

Which OPAS block offs do you have installed? Is your intake grate hanging down at all?

I'm running the Riva Racing Block off plates. As far as the intake grate I had to grind it a little so it would sit flush with ride plate.

Trim your ski down. Remove pump wedge if u have one.
Lean fwd more towards the front. The main problem, is those BO plates
Are no good over 72 or so. U need the full hull length RE style BO's, or Riva extended Pro series.

this also happens with a loose grate or an unlevel ride plate or loose pump piece

I will check the ride plate and intake grate for tightness. I will probably have to bite the bullet and pay a little more and get the Hull Extensions.....
That's what ya get tryin to save a few bucks I guess.

I would do a "once over" before purchasing new block offs. Like imposter said, check the pump. Even the seal. I fabbed my own block offs, they are the same as Rivas and I have the same sky with more mods and have never had this problem.

How different is the handling with those at low speed (docking) and high speed??
I blocked mines in the up position but hesitate to remove them completly cause the wife also drives it and want to keep the stock handling as much as possible.
    Thanks.

It is noticable at idle and docking but you get use to it. At high speeds, way better!!!!
