Can R3 be ran on a stock prop?

I picked up an r3 reflash for my FZR but I'm still running the stock untouched prop. Would it be possible to run this ECU or would I have issues with the motor revving to high? Reflash is set to 8850

    My current mods:

    Riva intake and ribbon delete
    Riva free flow
    Riva BOV kit
    VX ride plate
    RD intake grate

I will be changing my prop in the future after I finish up with purchasing my upgrades like et 15.5 wheel, intercooler and RRFPR. I just don't want to be having to change it again.

Runs like a champ! I have exactly what you have with the R3.

I had exactly the same mods you listed except for the plate and i picked up 4 m/h (from 68 to 72 @ 8300 rpms) with the limiter set to 8500 rpm. Youre gonna love it!!

you are going to cavitate on the holeshot.with barely any mods i was already burning the prop up.

It's fine ride the shit out of with the stock prop you won't mess anything up! If u have access to a pitch gauge and can repitch the stock impeller then it will be fine! I know people who r running low boost wheels with the stock prop but it has been repitched a lil and they r no problem at all!

The most RPM you will see with those mods is 8200-8300. You are not making enough power to spin the stock prop any faster than that, so it will work fine. You will have to take it easy on hole shots. You will cavitate badly from a dig, hitting the rev limiter at least 5 times if you pin it. Also, keep in mind that many people on here will tell you that the stock valvetrain is only rated to 8600 RPM.
