First 4tec ski rebuild due to Supercharger failure. Looking for tips and advice......
I bought a 2004 GTX 185 for my wife a couple of weeks ago knowing it had some motor issue. Well, after doing many hours of reading on here, i figured i would pull the supercharger and start there seeing how the ski has 155 hours on it. Well here is a pic of what i found, the pic is exactly how it came out....Now knowing there is serious damage done, i pulled the motor out and will be tearing it down over the next week or so. I would like some help and advice on what other things i should be planning on replacing while i have this motor torn apart. I will be replacing the valves for sure, and i will be rebuilding the supercharger myself. I was going to send it out, but i will be buying another 4tec ski for myself and will need to service that supercharger also so i figure i may as well learn to do it. I have a press, and will be ordering the tools i need from speedfreakcnc, and riva.
Any info and help is greatly appreciated!!

+1 both oil pumps and covers, timing chain, check all bearings, flush the engine and head completely also flush the oil cooler
The pic shows your missing gear.
That means its inside and I bet there is damage to the flywheel. Some teeth missing..
Just remember to torque everything to specs and follow the manual.

There were no ceramics on that charger. early 185hp didn't have them. But how the hell did the gear and bearings fall off???????

Any movement fore and aft or up and down on the shaft? The back end of the charger looks too clean......
