Generally when people talk about bucking its a phenomena that occurs when the pump gets stuffed. It happened to me once on my waveraider when I was jumping waves at high speed. One minute I was accelerating, then next I was flying through the air. Landed a good 100ft from the ski on my back. Had to go to the chiropractor the next day. Felt like the ski hit a log and just stopped when it threw me off.

I experienced it 3 times in a day at full thottle at about 68 mph, i didnt fall from the sky but believe me, fun is not a part of it Get the R&D grate and the issue gets solved.

Exciting is not a part of the process. Hitting the water at 60+ mph is no fun and when you finally stop windmilling across the lake you're going to wonder what the hell happened.

Just out of curiosity...is it recommended to put a R&D grate on a VX model just like the VXR/S models?

If you go WOT, above 60 mph ....and you just dump or completely let off the throttle ... your pump shoe can in some cases be stuffed with water and buck you off ... due to the sudden dead stop on the ski .. thus a lot like getting bucked from a horse. Ha ha Good Luck
