riva and les cooke have knock control... i don't believe the rotax racing have knock ....

is there an ecu that performs better? or is "safer" for a stock bottom end/ pistons?

I tried to find this out myself not to long ago .....My understanding seadoo centre runs on the lean side ... perfect for closed coarse .. as does RR but no knock ..I was informed riva was better of the 3 for rec riding .. Im a dumbass so this doesn't answer your Q's about fuel and timing

I have learned to never trust the fuel curve. You must have a way to log and then adjust the tune. Without logging, there is no way you will ever get a happy owner unless you are really lucky. Pick the system you can tune.

im with ya Andy,I have a rude fuel controller in line right now and have a perfect map for the Riva,But the riva has to go back to its owner now and im thinking of getting a re-flash,nobody seems to have the Riva mapping or the rotax so the Les Cooke is all thats is out there that i can find...with 80s the Les Cooke is suppost to be close with minor adjustments so i guess well see.....
