Lance just talked to a buddy of mine, he works on these all the time, what else do you want to know? He has or can get you the kit no problem.

Same thing, my bud has a small engine repair shop near your neck of the woods, get as much info about the engine/boat and what you need and/or want and I'll give you his contact info.

ok what i would like are any performance pointers on this engine. i have started polishing and doing what little port work i can find, but maybe there are some things that are being done that i don't know. on the carbs what i need are some basic tuning and adjustment procedures. thanks

    ph2ocraft referral

get the numbers off the top of each carb (i believe it's stamped on the boss on the engine side or throttle side of each carb) that'll tell me which kits you need.
If I remember correctly, some of these carbs were fixed jet and some were adjustable. The adjustable ones were 1-1/2 out for base adjustment, then test to tune each. If the carbs are fixed, i wouldn't get too crazy about raising or lowering the ports too much.
NOTE: BOYSEN REEDS WILL WAKE THAT MOTHER UP!
