    Pistons

    Riva vs cp vs je piston has anyone had any problems from any I've been getting different info on them some say Riva ones are no good some say the same about cp an je I'm trying to figure out is it just a personal thing or have others have problems from any

    Cps would be my first choice, then J.e pistons, wouldn't run riva pistons for desktop weights. Seen and heard of to many failures

    I bought CP's through jerry from Rd. Came with clear and detailed instructions regarding fit and bore sizes.

    Whatever brand you go with be sure to fit them into the correct size bore, with the appropriate clearance as recommended by the manufacturer of what you buy.

    Mostly quality, look at the people who have reported issues 75% where Rivas pistons

    Where they piston failures or something else cause piston problems

    I thought there was only the relief pockets in the early riva/mtc pistons in a 4-tec ...I haven't heard of a failure other then those?

    is there anyone who has been using the riva piston in a 18psi + for a good period of time without problems just trying to see because i can get the riva ones now when the other are a 2-3 week wait
