Warned For Speed With No Wake Mode On
Local lake police seem to think the factory No Wake Mode is still too fast. Say to go as slow as you can and still maintain control.

Were you trimmed up, neutral or down? Sometimes it makes a difference. I can't even keep up with the boats in a no wake, but still get harassed. Started trimming nose down to point the jet down and seems to help.

it's simple..you are throwing a wake or you are not.
Like to see what BRP would say if they got a letter with a copy of your ticket.
I'd like to see what a judge would say about it also.
Simple computer update could set the no wake speed to a lower rpm.
You could make a request under the freedom of information act to get copies of all summons issued for no wake violations to see what brand boats/skis are getting nicked for it and if it's one office writing the tickets.
Next time I get into a chat with a park ranger, I'll make a polite inquire on the topic.

A couple of weeks ago I had a squirrel sheriff wave at me to slow down on the river by my cabin too just as a pontoon motored on past me under power with a big wake. I turned my head, ignored him and kept going. The double standard applied to PWCs is ridiculous.

9 out of 10 water cops hate pwc's..
Just keep that in mind because they will look for any reason to write a ticket or 2...
Ask me how I know....

Ive talked to a couple cops and they told me on Yamis they look for the vis spout spray, that way they know they aren't idling thru no wake zones
