    2005 SC oiling good nuff for 8600?

    ^title is question

    I change 2qts every 6 months (10-15hrs) and it's pretty clean so I know it's getting good stuff

    IMO yes, the later oiler setup helps with clutch life, so you might have to adjust/keep an eye on your slip more with the older setup.

    With the bigger chargers I think the late style oiler is more importand due to the extra stress thats on the clutches.

    I think that the early oiler setup might actually supply the bearings better, the 08 setup only supplys oil down the middle which is then expelled through the clutches there is no direct feed to the bearings on any of the setups... Its the berings which have to cope with the extra RPM, although the clutches are under more load its boost levels and big wheels that really load the clutches.

    Hmm I was told something totally different. I'm running the RIVa ecu as well with x charger. I went ahead and bought the parts, only like 40 bux If I recall. Was told to buy the rotax racing oil jet for the head as well

    why buy the jet? Remove the entire thing and get a 06+ rocker shaft

    $90 if you find the right deal and the oiling is far better. Not that much more expensive. At those RPMs you want that top end getting as much as possible
