    300X exhaust hose deteriorated....... HELP

Ok first, excuse me if I don't know how to spell "deteriorated" already assuming it is not correct. Second, this exhaust hose on my 300X (the last bit going to the hull penetration) is cracked and when I took it off it was possible to crack of pieces of it so hard did it get. It looks like it have been awfully hot at some point as the air intake hoses running just next to it also was partly melted. It gets plenty of cooling water though and I never run it without water when flushing it. The ski got approx. 50 hours on it and 35 hours after a rebuild due to piston melt down. See elsewhere on the forum. It is running great after the rebuild though and have done so for 35 hours. Is this some common thing on this jet with this particular hose or is something more severe going on??????

my guess is when the engine took a dump previously , the rubber did get too hot and has cause it to harden , Just replace it and move on
