Towing in the rain Cover or no?

When you guys are towing in the rain do you guys cover your skis or not? What are the effects if you dont or you do? Is there any special way you cover it? Thanks

No point in towing with cover on...just wears it out and rubs your ski.

I agree I'd rather wipe down with a 50/50 vinegar and water rather than buffing out the scuffs from the cover

Just got back from 4000 miles of towing. Only a couple of bug splats and a little black on the front of the skis. When I bought the first ski i towed it 300 miles with the cover on and had to buff the scratches off. Have towed since then with no covers and no problems. I do carry the covers with me to cover them up when stopped for the night.

I've towed on a 5 hour trip with my OEM cover and never had any marks on my finish.
