    Trailer Build

Right you guys! I'm jealous! I've got the ski, (Waverunner XL1200Ltd) but it looks CR#P on the British trailer under it (it's too thin and spindly). I'm going to build my own, and get it galvanised, and I want some help from any of you with those super-low-bunk trailers I've seen on this site. The ski's look like they're sitting on the axle, which would be great for me, as we launch and recover in some very unpredictable waves off Blackpool (Northwest England), and the less we have to back the tractors into the water to get the ski on and off, the quicker we can get out of there! How does the bunk attach to the frame (I assume there are cross-members, but I cant' see on the pics)? Could someone PLEASE take a picture of the bunk attachment for me (either with the ski on or off), so's I can see just what you've got under there. I'd be very grateful, and will post pics of the project, if anyones interested! Cheers from England. DaveW.

this about the only pics i have right now on my computer... nothing really close-up like you are looking for, but maybe it will give you some ideas?

mine WAS galvanized... then i rippd it apart and changed all the bolts and and primed it and painted it black.

Hey, thank's a million for the link and the pics guys. It's about what I thought, but that's given me a much clearer idea of the way to go about it. As I said, they look the dogs bo##ocks on the pics with the skis' on, far better than what we get AND we pay between 1200 to 1800$ for ours! I'll be welding this weekend, that's for sure. Any more close-ups of the mounts would be great, but these are fine. THANKS. DaveW.
