    Intake grate question

After a few hrs of searching I've become more confused then when I started the search. I'm looking for the fastest grate for my gprxp for smooth water and light chop. From what I can find the r&d 800 grate would be the best choice? Or is the stock 800 grate the one I want... Any help is greatly appreciated. I also have an r&d ride plate on the way. Ski is a 2004 gp1300r thanks

    +1,

but I would suggest finding a stainless steel grate, as the aluminum 800s were the weakest of all... and if you are going aluminum, dont buy a used one, get new IMO

Thanks WFO ill be ordering a new one. Who makes the stainless grates? Any help on hull setup would be greatly appreciated. I've already stepped the sponsons and shimmed the trim tabs to stop the porposing . Fastest I've been is 79.1 stock 1300 grate and plate

Stainless or SS grates were made by Greenhulk a few years back, and they pop up in the classifieds from time to time

also... DO NOT RIDE THAT BOAT ANYMORE WITH THE STOCK GRATE INSTALLED !!!!!!!
