STX-15F Fuel tank pressurizing in sun - normal?

Just want to make sure it's normal - I've noticed quite a bit of pressure building up in the STX-15 fuel tank on a hot day - I mean, I loosen the gas cap and hear pressure hiss out for a good few seconds. I understand that there's a check valve in the fuel vent line and presumably that is working fine, just want to make sure there's nothing out of the ordinary here, as it will basically pressurize itself every day in the sun...

The check valve allows air in not out

Understood on the valve - I never remember noticing pressure building up in the tank of any of my old skis though.
