    Gp1200 carb clean!

    My gp1200 -98 bulp and acting weard! Have orded tripple rebuild kit! It Will come 18/8 Can i just take the carb apart and clean and reasambly them witout doing à psi test? Have to get it going on saturday

    I've done it without a psi test. Use genuine kits and take your time.

    You can open up a GP1200 carb, look at it, clean it, and reassemble without replacing gaskets if the gaskets are good enough to reuse. Sometimes you can tell they are not going to reseal. the only way to find out is to open them and look.

    Have open the carb and it was pretty dirty, clean all dirt out and washed all the gasket in soap and water! Don't want to mess with the high and low speed skrew or the nedel! See how it works out soon

    All resembly now! But it won't even start! It get no fuel to the carb! Is it possible because it is air in the system or what?

    Yes. air in the system. These carbs have a hard time priming when the lines and carbs are empty. fill the lines and carbs with gas by pump fuel through them.

    Get it running but it runs like shit! When i stand still and hit the trottle it blurping and sometimes die, i release the trottle and smooth and careful press it it goes fine sometime but aometime it blurps! when i get it up in speed and give it full trottle its no problem, runs fine then!Went out 2.5 h today with full tank, (50l) and it was warning for empty tank, after 2,5h! An it was almost empty! What is going on?

    Needle and seat leaking or pop-off pressure is WAY off.

    Okej! What type of needle and seat should I use? Is there any guide to build a popp meter? Have been searching all local shop and no luck!
