    GTR Question

I sucked in a stick today...got it cleared with a couple revs and rode the rest of the day with no problems except I could only do a solid 60 mph with the occaisional 62 at a consistent 8040 rpm's. I'm not one to 'catolog' and remember my speeds, let alone rpm's but I don't think this is right. Lol. Thoughts?

RPM's are right where they should be but speed is down....Probably chunked the wear ring

FML. Thanks for the input. Is it still ok to ride for now? Like I said...I rode the rest of the day without issue...no warnings or codes. What's does it usually run to get a wear ring replaced?

If its not to bad, then yes, you can ride....You will have some cavitation most likely. If you have never take an IBR system apart, find someone near you or take it to the dealer to get the wear ring done...The IBR fixing plate and strip and cause you a big headache if not correctly......

Are you sure its all out of the pump?
You should be able to view the wear ring and impeller from under the ski.
Tiny is right if you've never taken a pump out with the ibr then have somebody do it for you.
It's more complicated than a pump with no ibr..

Your missing a few mph on the top...

I haven't checked it out yet. I'm gonna grab a flashlight and slip under the trailer and take a peak right now. Working at home rules. Yeah I'm missing like 8 MPH...8 MPH doesn't sound like much...until it's not there no more. lol

It looks clear. I also didn't see any real damage to the wear ring either. Maybe it's on the bottom part where of course I can't get the right angle to see.

Ok...old topic...but didn't feel the need to make a new one since I still haven't fixed this issue. Short story even shorter...got the wear ring fixed and the ski will still not go over 60 mph. RPM's are where they should be at 8040.

Is there some way something happened to the SC? I've heard of shit getting clogged in there? I have no idea what is causing me to be stuck at 60 MPH since sucking in that stick. The wife of course is all "it's only 8 mph...what are you pissed about? You don't need to be going that fast anyways." Pfffttt...I love her but c'mon girl...did you just meet me? lol

    Anyways...any input is welcomed.
