    RXP Model Year Color Configuration

Hey guys, my usual time of the year to stop by (meaning right after my first ride of the season) with some questions.

i have a 2005 RXP, black/green. I've never really liked the color combo & since my top deck is almost white from being so chalky, I'm weighing out my options (ie wet sand, paint, or vinyl wrap) on how to make it look good again.

My question is, where can I find the color combos for the different years. I'm thinking of replacing the ugly green rub rail insert with poss a black for example.

    Thanks in advance.

You can go to Seadoo's website and search for past model years.

If you take the time to wet sand it and buff it then it can look new again.
Many layers of color on seadoos.

So all's not lost as far as my black deck? I was going to read up on how to wet sand, or what to do to try & make the black come back. One concern though is putting a lot of time & work into restoring it & then it looks like crap shortly after putting it in the water (similar to years past when I've put a lot of elbow grease into a compound & then waxing, it was short lived).
