    R&D R4 reflash anyone tried it ?

Part #802-01804 R&D R4 ECU; Reprogrammed ECU to allow 8850 RPM’s, eliminated Boost limiter, and aggressively advanced ignition timing that will allow as much power and RPM’s as possible while still running 91 octane pump gasoline. R4 works great with stock, C1, C3, or C5 Monster Wheel Kits, RC1 Cam Kits, and R&D Cam Gear Sets. The R4 ECU Program blends everything we have learned over the past 5 years into an ECU Program File that delivers big power across the board while maintaining reasonable reliability on 91 octane fuel. R&D strongly suggests R&D Super Single Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers be installed with the R4. The R4 will deliver a substantial gain in power over the R3 Program especially in the upper mid to top end power range. For those not willing to upgrade the valve train, stick with our most popular R3 Program.

im thinking about upgrading from my R3 to R4 but before i do , i need a feed about it

anyone out there have tried it ? what was the results ?

For recreational enthusiasts who want all the horsepower possibly available running 91 pump gasoline, R&D offers the R4 ECU Program. The R4 is R3 on steroids! The R4 offers performance gains up to 200 RPM’s more and up to 2 MPH over our traditional recreational R3. See R4 section for more details.

Call R&D and ask Glenn. He seems to be a straight shooter.
