    Mark Hahn Memorial

    People ,
I see there is a memorial ride for the memory of this man .For those of us whom don't know of this person can you give me/us some insight into the man .He obviously was well liked as you don't honour a person with this type of thing for no reason

    Cheers

    Bernie,

-as a racer, he was a fierce competitor, but would rip parts off his boat, to keep you in a race.

-as a family man, you would only need to meet them, to see how much he meant to them.

-he ran a shop based around his endurance racing, and looked for answers and parts that improved the boats he ran. He sold these parts to any racers... he didn't hide them from the world.

-he would talk to you for hours about your boat. I used to love our discussions about racing, skis, and all that stuff.

-he believed in promoting clean, safe races, and tried to make it possible to bring back endurance racing to the level it was in the 90's.

-he was instrumental in getting the APBA boat races to have pwc racing again.

-He was a gentle giant, and I had the honor of racing with him for many years. I wish it would have been longer.

His wife, and family race the Hahn300 memorial every year. Her boat number is "1W", and her son in law races on "10" which was Marks" last race number.

He was a cool cat, and they are good people.
