Waveventure Exhaust Hose
Just wondering if I should be concerned. I have a wvt700. The rubber hose going from the water box to the discharge fitting near the jet pump tunnel looks like it is collapsed. The hose is shaped like a "U" and one of the turns feels like the integrity of the hose has broken down. My assumption is that it is pliable enough, under pressure with water moving through the system, it opens up the hose to discharge the water. i don't have any cooling problems, just wondering if I should replace it. Or, is there one I can make from pvc and some of the old hose as a suitable replacement? Thanks!

You could make one from PVC if you wanted. If the hose feels mushy then it's probably oil soaked. Sometimes when they get in that condition they break open internally and make a "flapper" that can block exhaust flow. If you're worried about it just replace it.
