Cruse control 2012 RXP x260
Sorry guys I posted the same post in the sea doo discussion forum.....this is where it should be at.
In Sep I will be partaking in a Never Quit Challenge ride (neverquitchallenge.com)....from key west to NYC (1600 miles) I'm in need of a cruse control ()....how hard was it to install? Any pictures or part numbers you can provide?
I'm really looking for the part number

It is fairly easy to install, even more so since you have an RXPX. On a standard ski with a handlebar cover you have to separate the cover to run wiring down the steering column.
If you look for it on Sea-Doo's website it will have the part number or if you can wait till I get to the shop tomorrow I can give you the number and a price... Are you doing the ride with Shawn Aladio from K38??

I installed it a few weeks ago on my 260px, it comes with detailed instructions(not px specific) and a few pics. It will take 2+ hours to install(with a drink in hand). You will need a torx bit to take off dash cover under the mirrors, two each side. Hardest part is wiring the cluster connection, need a small pick to get plugs out, make good crimps with wire connectors because holes are small, crimps need to be round, not flat to fit. Wiring to fuse box is easier. Be carefull not to break tab off the plastic throttle cover, access underneath after screws are out. There are no holes to secure module like instructions show to battery harness, get creative with zip ties.
I really like the slow speed mode, its a little slower than normal idle speed, but with virtually no wake. One less excuse for a water cop to stop you in a no wake zone.
