    650/750 Jet Pump Question

Do 650's and 750's use the same pump. Looking at possibly buying a Solas SS impeller made for a 650($50 in excellent condition).
I would like to use it on my 750. Will it work?

650's and 750's due use the same pumps BUT......

In 1992 and 1993 the 650 used a 146mm pump while the 1993 750 used the same. They do use different impeller pitches though

The 1994 and newer 650's and 750's use the modular 148mm pump, but once again, with a different pitch impeller.

So yes, the use the same pump, but they use different impellers.

What year ski do you have? And what impeller are you looking to buy?

Here's the Solas chart to help you see if it will work for you.

I'm trying to figure out if the one in the pic (PL-SC-K) will fit my 95 750 SLT. Couldn't find a match on the link you provided. Any more information appreciated.
I can have my original aluminum re-done for $60. Or buy the one in the pic for $50 if it will fit. Or, I have a friend with a Solas Stainless SD-SC-XO for $60 with a few small nicks
    if that will work?

Will not fit. The one in the pic is for the 146mm pumps, the 92 and 93s. Your 95 has the modular 148mm pump.

The SD-SC-XO is for a Sea Doo GTX 16.5/23.5 which is too much prop anyway.

Thanks for the info. I was told it would work. Glad i asked before buying. Should I just get mine redone for $60? It's got some nicks and one slightly bent blade.

Get yours fixed for $60, that's a great price. Who is offering that service for that? Impros is around $100 and Skat isn't too far off either.

Sure its not SS? You say it is the original, it should have a Part number on it - Which do you have? Stock was an 035. Personally, I love the Skat 13/18 on the SLT750 much better than a Polaris 035 or 079......

You're right. It is SS. I haven't taken it out. Can I find the number without removing it. And I'm confused about the repair price. It is Impros. They say on their site Stage 1 is $60 without welding and Stage 2 is $75 Here's the link (http://impros.com/store/index.php/se...er-repair.html) if you can help me figure out the cost. They're about 40mins from my house.

If it is the stock impeller it would be a 4 blade, which then carries an additional $20 4 blade charge. Maybe shipping makes up the rest of the $20, but if you are local......

It's a 4 Blade. I checked on the Skat at Impros($250 & Up). Wow! That's outta my budget for now. So I'm looking at $100 for the re-do right? Or any other options? Thanks as usual for the help Cris.
