'04 RXP Replace Valves or Replace w/ Reman Head?
I have been pushing my ski a long time without replacing the valves. I think I should get it done ASAP, Im probably on borrowed time @ 215hrs.
I am mechanically inclined. Whats the best Approach? DIY? Tools?

Also a good idea to get a pto gasket and replace the flywheel bolts with arp bolts.
If the charger is due for service do that also or at least check slip.
Change the oil. Ect.
Maybe a 08 oiler mod for the charger too.

If your doing valves i would replace the Springs and retainers too,Make sure you check the guides and seats...once installed make sure you seat your valves also..dont want any lose of compression do to unseated valves...
Its not hard a hard job, just take your time, seeing your mechanically able then get yourself a manual and you will have no problem..Only special tool that i can think you may need would be this:
