Question Engine Management Module Diode Issue - 1200 Polaris Genesis

I have a 1200 Polaris Genesis and have a Diode (?) burnt out. I am looking for the size of the diode, it's a D38 on the schlematic. The measurements are: 1"3/8 and 4"1/4 exact to the pictures.
    P/n 586776 A
    S/n 00003000

If anyone can have a look at the pictures and see if they have any idea or comparison, please let me know. Thanks

    Welcome

You have a Ficht fuel injected Genesis. What model year?

I cannot tell from the photos what diode part number has been burned.

Where are you located? There is a company that repairs these EMM, called DFI Technologies.

I need the exact measurements of yours..can you put a measuring tape on yours like I did with the one in my picture so I know the exact location and can test for the power running thru each of the one that are burnt out for you.
Are you able to test the one I have burnt out in my picture on yours, to figure out my problem?

Can you upload larger, clearer photos? These are rather small.

This thread may have the information you need.

If it matches the EMM power board I have, D38 is an 8EWS08S. Originally made by International Rectifier, now Vishay.
