    How to remove genesis pump ?

    I HAVE A 00 GENESIS AND WAS WONDERING HOW TO REMOVE THE PUMP I NEED HELP BEFORE NOON TOMARROW THANKYOU

    ow ok very helpful I got the pump out well the nozzle and the part connected to the impeller man was it sized in there when u reinstall it do u put like silicone or rtv on it to seal or is it just metal to metal ?

    Start with cleaning up the metal mating surfaces on the jet pump sections. Then inspect what you have.

    A normal, non-corroded jet pump goes together quite smoothly, with only minor friction between the mating pieces.

    If any sealant is needed, it generally is only needed starting from the joint at the front side of the impeller, and any other seams forward of that.

    Following the links in K447's thread, step by step, I basically learned everything I needed to about removal and install of all the jet pump pieces. I can now take apart and re-install in about 15min. Great links, I recommend thoroughly reading up on all of them.
