    Rod bolts?

    Do they need to be replace when doing an engine rebuilt? What are the torque values?

    Yes they must be replaced
    45nm + 90 Degrees
    (33lbf.ft + 90 Degrees)

    These specs are for OEM bolts

    Yes!!!! you definatly want to replace them..Torque spec as per manual-

    45 Nm (33 ft lbs)
    Do not apply any thread locker
    Finish tightening the screws with an additional 90 degree turn using an angle torque wrench.

    I use engine oil mixed with molly paste or engine oil only
    On the threads and the washer, both sides, havnt had any problems and have built 40+ motors
