    Question 1997 polaris 1050 sl reving out at 4000 rpm red light flashing

    i have a 1997 polaris 1050 sl it has good compression and spark and starts no problem but seems to rev out at 4000 rpm like it has a govener and the red light on the mfd is flashing> ive heard it could be in limp mode any ideas on where to go from here thanks for you time

    Is there a warning message on the display?

    Low Fuel, Low Oil, LoPR, HOT ... ?
