E.P.I.R.B. and radio recommendations
Well, the trip to Bimini is fast approaching (provided the skis are out of the shop in time). We WILL NOT even attempt without an E.P.I.R.B. each and some radios would be nice. We love our Amazon.com and will probably order from them, so we will need your recommendations ASAP.

I don't know anything about E.P.I.R.B.'s but just took a gander at them and wow...freaking expensive piece of equipment. I wonder if there's any places for you to rent them instead?

B - I don't know of anyone brand, but you I highly rec. you getting an EPIRB. I'd also perhaps recommend you looking at a SPOT http://www.findmespot.com/en/
I've got a Marine VHS as well as two marine 2-way radios (up to 30 miles). I will trust you w/these if you'd like to borrow them.
