BOV are useless on these 4-tec setups. On a stock 127 supercharger my boy Mike had no problems with his but as soon as he went X-charger and especially when he went ET-137 he started to loose boost. The BOV mod would be purely for shit n giggles and at the end of the day just be another source for a boost leak. Save your money and use it on something beneficial.
thats my 10 cents

yep took mine out as it was causing a slight boost leak. i will say i never had clutch issues with it on dont know if it made a difference.

I was thinking like you that it would help clutch life
first these skis go in and out of the water a lot, not many other apps loose traction and then get it back let alone doing it over and over again
second the inside of a ski is just about the most corrosive spot for a bov
IMO a bov will eventually fail and its just one part you live without

Do a search on BOV on here there is a world of info as to why you dont need or want one on a SCed 4 Tec.
