2013 rxt issues
Ok. First off I wanna say I love this damn ski. So far this thing has been a blast. Ran into some issues today.
1.) Ok, at 23 hours I got a maintenance required message. I knew that at 25 hours I needed to bring it in so I just chocked it up to an early warning of that service milestone. No difference in performance.
2.) I am now at 24 hours and my ski has reduced its speed to 60mph and has a rough idle. It actually stutters when accelerating, full throttle from a dig and just normal acceleration.
3.) I notice too that when I am idling, not in neutral but just moving at 2-3mph, that when I tap the throttle the ski shakes.
I think that something has broken and its just a coincidence that it happened at the 25hr mark. Other than a motor mount, I am not sure, I looked at the front one and it seems ok, once the motor cools down I will inspect more.
Oil looks great. I thought at first that maybe it limited my speed for the service, but the idle just doesnt seem right. I am in sport mode.
No mods at all, bone stock.

It doesn't reduce performance because of regular maintenance light or time.
Are your spark plug caps all hooked and pushed down?
Sometimes they put too much lithium grease in them and they POP up.
Sounds like your running on 2 cylinders.

Thank you for the quick reply. I just checked them, but they all seem to be very snug. I pulled them each off and re pushed them down, but they were on there very good.

Also want to mention that when I cruise at 60-62mph that there is no vibration or unusual feel other than the reduced performance. I have checked and there is nothing in the grate, I was in very clean water.

It's under warranty bring it in.
Maybe change the spark plugs before bringing it in because they do occasionally take a dump for no apparent reason.
Other than that its a dealership issue and have them fix it.

Yea it's under warranty. I'm about to go buy some new plugs. I just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas. Was hoping to ride this weekend and drop it off Monday. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Make sure you get the plugs with the removable caps.
You need to take the caps off to install the plugs

When ever I here 60 MPH I wonder about the SCer. Mine had to have the slip reset at around 10-15hours.
Also check pump, wear rings, and prop.
