    97 SLT-780 Gray Wire

    Disconnected gray wire in ebox .... Wasn't paying attention when I disconnected it. Which terminal do I reconnect to?

    If there is no terminal marked GRY, then it probably goes with the Tan wires.

    I did not actually look up the wiring diagram for your model, but typically Tan = Gray if there is no Gray terminal.

    Thanks for the speedy reply. Removing the gray wire made no change, the motor does not rev over 4300 rpm. Out of the water connected to a hose.

    Should I also unplug the tan wire? MFD shows 3/4 fuel and injector oil is full. These valuses are correct based on visual inspection.

    THere is an area marked gray in ebox, just isn't where I remember it to be when I disconnected it. I did not unbolt the mounted half of the ebox, I was doing a headstand when I unplugged the gray wire.3

    Where does this gray wire that you unplugged go to?

    What connector is on the wire end, a round bullet connector or a flat spade style connector?
