WB mystery rattle 96 XP
Bringing the ol girl out of retirement today and going through this ski top to bottom. noticed a rattle in the WB and decided to pull it. sounds like a couple washers and possibly a jet. I havent disected too many waterboxs in my day so anyone that has can you please post up what I have possibly rolling around my WB? I am assuming its the jet and the parts associated with it as its between the two baffles and wont come out either end. My OCD is starting to kick in and is driving me nuts. . Either way im riding today but if anyone can post some pictures or a good expanation post up please.

Sounds like loose baffles or debris from previous engine damage to me. I have taken several waterboxes apart to modify and the internal passages are spot welded or crimped in place. Sometimes they break loose.

Motor is original so no previous damage. May be just the baffles that came loose....?
