Yamalube is the best......don't know why you would want to change.......Car oil is not good for your ski, that oil has friction modifiers in it that will inhibit normal clutch operation. You will want to stick with the yamalube, or a motorcycle oil is great, or the Amsoil Marine does not have friction modifiers in in it. I would stick with what Yamaha recomends.....becides its YOUR 13k toy........wanna go cheap with walmart oil LOL.....wanna change a clutch LOL that's a bitch To do on a saturday

    Rick,
There are at least 3 top tuners running the Mobil one in 90-100 mph skis.....I have a 80+ rxp that runs flawless on Castrol 10/40, I mean 100+ hrs....No issues....I will do some research....But I know the mobil 1 is being used. Just didn't know if anyone else had experience with it.....

    Rick,
Calm down man!!! Lol. I stopped by a new dealer in diff city. They had the yam oil for $4.99qt. I bought 12 QTS. I had seen it as expensive as the brp stuff. Was not paying $10-12qt for any oil period. No worry now
