drive line o-ring into impeller whats the trick ???

hello trying to get this drive line installed into the impeller and cannot get the o-ring to fit in anyway , what way does it go into the impeller first or leave it on the drive line?

I cant get it to squeeze thru is it suppose to go all the way thru, there is no way for the oring to fit flesh and the drive line fit all the way in, as the oring groove is further down and this is the same style oring I pulled out , but when I ordered one for mine it was a skat trak o ring , also when I ordered a fuel water serp o-ring it sent one way to big , lol so my drive line o-ring and my fuel water o-ring were both wrong when I looked them up for a 99 sltx weird ,

You are using a nujet style seal with a Skat prop. Its a big o ring that you use with a Skat prop. Thats why it wont work.

The prop in your original pic is a Skat prop.
