installed rrfpr ski is now slower than without.....

before my rrfpr i was running riva 50s with a et137+4, thru hull, stock ecu on my 09 rxpx. i was avg around 75mph afrs were around 10.8 to 11.5 wot depending on air temp, and nailing it at mid range it would pull like a freight train and this is low to mid 90s humid weather.

I decided to throw in some deka 48s and the ski leaned out a little at idle and mid so i wasnt using as much fuel but wot was around 12.3 so i bit the bullet and bought a walbro fuel pump and riva rrfpr.

went riding over the weekend 80 degree, fuel pressure is set at 55lbs with ref line hooked up to manifold , idle afr 13.0, mid is 13.5 wot would start at 12.3 and then stay steady between 11.7 to 11.8 . spinning 8100 on glass saw 8140 a few times.

so the numbers are there but the ski feel like it has NO POWER from the mid range the last 1/8 of an inch of throttle makes the ski feel slower.... usually punching it at 6 grand the thing was ripping me off, now its just a gradual acceleration to stock rxpx speed and just doesnt want to pull anymore. pinning it all the way feels like its bogging the ski down as well ...

slow91 just did the slip, fresh plugs, fresh o2 and re calibrated 93 octane,...

ideas? should i try different injectors?

Try going back to the 50's and stock rrfpr that comes on the ski. It that doesn't help, try slowly easing into the throttle to try to make the engine turn 8100+rpm withOUT holding it wide open. I doubt you're running at its limiter, but ya never know.
    Check your charger slip too.
    Good luck!

You need to be using bosch injectors and now you need to change your oil. I'm willing to be your reference line has a leak considering you only saw +.3 change. A BR line attached will dramatically richen up your WOTs ESPECIALLY with a CR wheel.

Also, unless you're running a super steep prop you're on the limiter, slowly destroying your engine and this would explain the AFR creep.

im running a solas 15/21r that slow91 re pitched for my mods. i have a steady 8100 rpm with 75* water temp, 80* air, only time saw 8160 was on the first pull or 2. i re installed my stock 42s and my ski is running much better now, feels like it felt with the riva 50s with no rrfpr which is where my ski was running the best.

slip was just checked as well 5 hours ago.

ref line is not leaking, 2 zip ties on it, and even after snipping its on so tight that i had to cut the hose off as i feared the nipple was going to break before the hose popped off.

with the 42s at wot i am at 12.0 and after a few seconds its at 11.9 and settles at 11.8. i just dont get why my ski was running quicker with mid 90s temps with less rpms and 10.8 afr at wot vs now with a rrfpr, a 11.9 afr ,cooler water and air temps .
