    Billet intake grate

Hey everybody im finishing up some work on a performance billet aluminum intake grate setup for the 215 rxp/rxt my reasoning is I got sick of breaking cast grates especially in 400+HP skis which can become dangerous and about to start design on S3,T3, and 2011-up Gti model grates I wanted to see what kind of interest would be gathered from these and if anybody would be interested if I released them and possibly got them in jerrys store. They will be lighter and stronger then other cast Intake grates currently on the market the 215 will be roughly $200 retail and others prices soon to come I currently dont have any test numbers at the moment i just wanted to gather some insight and see if this would be an interest in the Sea-Doo community ill post more info as soon as possible.

    Thanks,
    Cody Tetreault

If you can build a grate for the XT that doesn't suck up top speed and helps hook up, especially in chop, you'll have a lot of customers waiting. I'll be one of them.

If you can make anything for the T3 hull that will give speed gains, I am sure a lot of people, including myself, would be interested!!!

    Cody,

Take a R&D grate for the S3 hulls and improve upon it:

    1. Make it flush with the ride plate
    2. Shorten the 2 vertical blades that hang down below the hull about 3/8"
    3. Keep the wing angle and relative position the same, do not change it as that is the part they got correct!

Do all of this and you will sell a bunch!

I'd be keen for one for early rxt if you could improve hookup, and as has been said, make it flush with the ride plate. Not concerned with adding speed.
